Cast Mate 20.04 to Chromecast TV

Hi everyone,

Just a quick question after googling the answer without any luck. Is there a native feature in Ubuntu Mate 20.04 LTS to cast the entire desktop or just a video file to a Chromecast TV?

I have tried to cast a video file through VLC Player, but it gets laggy and after few minutes the picture freeze.
Is there another way to do it? I found a video on youtube regarding the "Screen Sharing" in Ubuntu, but it looks like Mate doesn't have it.

Any help would be appreciated.

I have not had any issues with VLC except with CC.

CCs and also pretty laggy.
Don't have this issue on Windows tho. I'm dual booting cos I have some software for my job that runs only on Windows. Tried VLC on Windows and works pretty fine, but not on Mate 20.04.
