Change keyboard shortcut for showing all open Windows

I don’t know what this feature is actually called (since I can’t find its name anywhere in the keyboard shortcuts list), but it shows “thumbnails” of all currently open windows and allows to switch to one of them by clicking on it. The equivalent of what Mission control is on a Mac. And the default keyboard shortcut is Super+W.

But because I don’t see this shortcut, or any option whose name seems like it could be it, in the list of keyboard shortcuts, I am wondering how can I change the keyboard shortcut for it?

I know Compiz can do this, but I had not heard it could be done another way. I will take a look now and see if I can find any information

You need to hold down:

CTRL and ALT

Then, press:

TAB

repeatedly to alternate through all open applications and windows

Hi @3Nex, I believe you’re talking about a feature in Compiz and it’s buried in the module called “Scale”.

Be sure and install compizconfig-settings-manager (CCSM) if you haven’t already. You’ll find Scale near the bottom and under the bindings tab will be mouse and keyboard settings for “Initiate Window Picker”.

Yes I’ve managed to change it with compizconfig-settings-manager! Thanks.

Weird that there is a Keyboard shortcuts section in native settings, and yet this keyboard shortcut isn’t editable through there…
