Change row height in Office Writer

I can not figure out how to the change the row height in a table I made using Office Writer.

I want to change all the row heights.

I tried selecting the row and dragging it with no luck.

When I use Writer, hovering the mouse over the line between the rows changes the cursor to a double-headed arrow. Clicking and dragging changes the row height, as you seem to expect. There is also a way mentioned in the Help files to make all the rows the same height. I’m not sure what may be different for your installation.

Mostly, Writer works much like the counterpart in MS Office, so you might try what works there. Also, if you don’t get help here, you may have better luck with answers in a LibreOffice support forum, rather than here, which is dedicated to the Mate desktop on Ubuntu. LibreOffice is a totally different project.

uncheck the option “fit to size” in the table | size | row height.

select the entire table. Then right click and choose “size/row height”. When you confirm the change, all row heights will be altered.
