I had a laptop with a bad network card. Didn’t want to go through all the hassle of installing a new one so I bought a usb wifi dongle instead. When I first inserted it, the signal strength was horrible and connection was intermittent. Then I found an online solution to install a driver for it. I simply followed the steps and now it is working better than expected. Just wanted to share with you guys in case someone is going through the same problem I was. As TP-Link has cheaped out by choosing the easiest way out of dealing with the new FCC wifi requirements by just blocking any open source software upgrades on their routers, I don’t want to buy anything with their brand on it. They need to be made an example of for other manufacturers who might consider an equally anti-customer move.
