Clevo Indicator not working on Mate

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone could help me with this. I can't seem to run the indicator on MATE.

We get an error saying

gdk_window_thaw_toplevel_updates: assertion 'window->update_and_descendants_freeze_count > 0' failed

I am not sure if this could be fix from the OS or from within the app.

Are you running this application on Clevo laptop?
What is your Ubuntu MATE version?
Also please add the output of two commands below:

lsmod | grep ec_sys
ls -al /sys/kernel/debug/ec/ec0/io
