I just installed copyq_2.7.1_Ubuntu_16.04_amd64.deb using gdebi and it will boot up.
Not sure if you have gdebi installed, to install:
sudo apt install gdebi
Then go to your download folder and r-click on the .deb and choose gdebi to install.
It will then appear ready to use (located in your menu under Accessories) or just copy something and it will pull up. Iβm not interested in the package so you will have to test it further.
If you decide you donβt want the package then again r-click on the .deb, choose gdebi and remove.
Not meaning to get in the way of trying something new. Go for it! But after you do, remember that you also have Diodon available to you on the Software Boutique in the Accessories pane.
Everything is up and running fine. I tried Didon and it worked jut fine.
Picked up a gmail message complete with pictures and pasted it into Libre Writer.
