Communication USB between SAMSUNG Android and UBUNTU PC

Hi
I am desperate ... since I updated my PC last week (which is running Ubuntu Linux 22.04.1) I cannot communicate with my phone (SAMSUNG FlipZ4).
I got this phone in August. I was able for weeks to connect it to my PC using USB and transfer photos (need to enter password, etc.).
Since this last update my PC even do not show any external device mounted.
I made a test with my old phone (Nokia flip) which is running a specific Android. IT WORKS !
I search on the web a solution but none make this SAMSUNG back to communicate with my UBUNTU.

Does someone able to give me some advice ? Thank you

Sorry about the delay.
I've just tried connecting my phone (galaxy A71) to UbuntuMate 20.04 and 22.04 using the charger lead. in both cases I had to allow access to the phone, got an error message which disappeared after sayin open the phone with Caja. The phone is on Android 12.
Can't see what else I can say to help.

Thank you answering
What you have is what I had before updating Ubuntu (don't remember what these updates were about).
Now when connecting the phone nothing happen on both side.
