Compiz Airplane Effect

Hello everyone,

I use Ubuntu MATE with the Compiz compositor, and I am absolutely amazed by the desktop effects it offers. I remember using GNOME 2 with Compiz and I had configured it so when I minimized a window, it would fold itself into a paper airplane and fly to the panel. However, I can't find this option in the CompizConfig Settings Manager. Is there I way I can add it back? I use version 0.9.14.2

Thanks,
Christopher

Yes, the paper airplane effect is still there. Nice, I didn't knew of its existence
Anyway, it is probably in the compiz-plugins-extra package.

In your case I would install all plugins:
compiz-mate
compiz-gnome
compiz-plugins
compiz-plugins-default
compiz-plugins-extra
compizconfig-settings-manager

some of these might already be installed on your system.
