Using Compiz as my window manager after being dissatisfied with the available animation options in Marco and I was unable to load fully LibreOffice Writer when I tried. There is a frame but the actual contents of the application do not display. Tried it with the standard Marco window manager and LibreOffice loaded normally. How can I fix this situation, it worked just fine with Compiz in the past.

EDIT: I managed to fix this by deleting the libreoffice directory in .config and the issue seems to have gone away.
