I think that we at the Ubuntu Mate community should have a cool terminal . That is why I installed powerline bash plugin and added screenfetch to start at begining of terminal . It would be cool to have a terminal like this

It’s cool, but the terminal to me is no play toy, it’s for getting serious work done. 
I’m happy just to colour the user@hostname:~$ bit.
Yep the screenfetch is for user choise . But powerline makes more clear your position in filesystem .
Flashy but does it do the job?, only joking, I’m sure it does!. 
Well it does no problem running commands

It’s pretty, sure, but I would hope it’d be optional. 
I’ve gotten spoiled on having tilda just one F12 keypress away.
It is bash thing . Terminal behaviour wont be affected by it
