Create a Gnome Disk fork

Would you be able to create a Gnome Disk fork for Ubuntu-MATE to improve the integration of the Munity layout or the Mate community that it can develop? In the case it would be "Mate Disk".

Or

I’ve actually thought of this for a while although I don’t have the ability to do it, it would also be nice to be able to resize partitions with it in addition to its current capability, as it is gnome disks is just a front-end for u disks,

The MATE team is small and it would unfortunately be a lot of work to keep a fork like this maintained. (That said, I only speak about the MATE team, not for them or as part of them.) I don’t think they’d say no to someone who creates and offers to maintain a fork, however

Another option you can try is installing the gtk3-nocsd package. This is a “A hack to disable gtk+ 3 client side decoration”. I personally haven’t tried it, though.
