Creating Themes and Changing Sound Themes on Ubuntu MATE?

Is it possible to create custom themes and custom sound themes in Ubuntu MATE and how can I do it?

You can put them together with a .theme file. There are several examples across the internet, like here, here and here. Not to mention in /usr/share/themes and /usr/share/sounds.

Thanks. I’m also talking about in a user friendly GUI.

There is some customization built into Mate in Menu>System>Preferences>Look and Feel>Appearance>Customize
