So basicly we have a Small top bar and bigger bot bar .
On the top we have Launch , Force close , Topmenu and workspace switcher applet .
On the bot we have gnome menu , show desktop , windows picker applet , notification area , indicators and time/date plugin .

Could you explain what is new? Which applet is where? etc.
Yes this is global menu bar a.k.a Topmenu . It can do GTK3 GTK2 and Qt apps
