Hello Everyone,
I have just started using the MATE desktop and so far love what I get from it. I come from the KDE and Cinnamon world and am seriously considering switching to MATE.
I'm having an issue with the dconf-editor in Ubuntu MATE 19.10. I have used it in the past on other distributions and have never run into this problem before.
Basically, I went in to dconf-editor and changed the date/time format to %b %d, %I:%M %p and upon exiting the editor and rebooting, nothing has happened. The default clock settings are still showing. When I go back into dconf, it shows that the date/time string has been changed from default, but the changes do not appear on my system.
Sorry if this has been asked before, I tried googling and searching the forums for answers, but haven't found anything related to this problem.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
