I have an up and running Mate distro. I have a docking station that can handle 2 drives. I’d like to insert one BLANK drive in one slot and clone the drive in the other slot. I was looking at a gui version of dd called Gdiskdump, but when I try to install it I get this error:
Dependency is not satisfiable: python (<2.7)
Long story short…I’d like to clone a drive in an up and running machine. How do I get a newer version of Python, or is there a gui alternative you’d recommend. Clonezilla wants you to boot up with a “live” cd and run from there. I’d like to just run it from an already running machine.
