I am looking for enabling an mcp2515 on SPI1 with a single chip select on RPI3 (and Ubuntu Mate). The device tree overlay shows an spi1-cs file and also a CAN1 but I don’t even know how to start I tried to compile a dts file into a dtbo but it fails at the /plugin/; line with a parse error. Does anyone have experience in device tree and could help me?
