Digital OHP drivers ( for school OHP)

Can someone advise me please if there is a driver required to project to a school OHP. I was expecting it to be automatic but for some reason I have failed to connect via standard VHS cable (the sort only available in schools) no hope of HDMI or other connection. What am I missing?

Don't you mean a VGA cable?

If you do, after connecting it, you need to go to preferences/hardware/displays and pick the relevant output display
