I've completely cleared all screenshot shortcuts using the Keyboard Shortcuts app, and yet pressing shift+Print will still pull up mate-screenshot. Is there any other place where this keyboard shortcut could be handled?
In System Settings > Keyboard > Shortcuts
Find the shortcut you're trying to disable, click on it to set a new shortcut, then pressing Backspace will disable that shortcut.
