Hi!
I'm having trouble with my USB 3.0 docking station. The SSD does not show up when issuing 'lsblk' or anywhere else however dmesg does give me a bunch of errors.
Background info:
Device causing the problem: SATA HDD Docking Station
Disk: Samsung SSD 850 EVO 500GB (I have also tried a mechanical laptop disk and I got the same error)
OS: Ubuntu Mate - "18.04.3 LTS (Bionic Beaver)"
sudo dmesg -w

Additional troubleshooting:
- I've tried different USB ports.
- I've tried different USB cables.
- I've tried inserting the disk very slowly.
- I've double-checked that the voltage and amperage matches the device description.
(Charger is original.) - USB 3.0 is enabled in BIOS.
This would seem to be the main culprit...

However, I'm out of ideas. Please help me.
