Does 15.10 include TLP utilities by default?

I downloaded and installed the 15.10 beta 2 (x64 version) last night, love it so far. One of the first things I do after installing any Ubuntu-based distro is setting up TLP. However, when I attempted to install tlp and tlp-rdw using sudo, I was notified that the latest versions are already installed. Is this something unique to Ubuntu MATE? If so, that’s certainly a good thing and saves some time.

Hey, cool find. It looks like TLP is finally available in the default wily repos, so no more installing it from a PPA!

Yep, I’ve integrated TLP in Ubuntu MATE 15.10 since alpha 1 because it’s brilliant

Ah, thanks for the clarification. I also tried out Ubuntu GNOME after I originally posted, and found that it did not have TLP in there. This is a good idea!
