Does this sys log entry seem normal?

This morning my PC was powered off. It was not manually powered off. The power button on the front of the PC did nothing to restore power. So I toggled the power in the back and then was able to turn PC on ysing the front button. Boot process was normal. I immediately checked the sys.log and saw the following last entry prior to reboot:

Oct 10 18:43:01 UM18 CRON[21243]: (root) CMD ( test -x /etc/cron.daily/popularity-contest && /etc/cron.daily/popularity-contest --crond)

This seems like an odd entry to me. Thoughts?

Hi :slight_smile:

I don't think your unplanned power off is related to that log message.
Maybe you got a critical hardware event like temperature or a electrical cut.
If the power button did not reacted until electrical unplug and re plug, I'm strongly thinking about a HW issue.
