Duplicating SD micros using USB hub ___ errors

I’m Using a USB hub with SD micro adapters to reproduce hundreds of SD micros for distribution in missionary work. (Gospel Movies, New Testaments, and other digital material). Works great! Until there’s an error.

Since USB devices are identified by a (seemingly) mystical, and inscrutable system on the computer, a single error on one or another of those SD chips, requires more time an effort than the recording time for ten if all goes well. Just for the fact of the need to examine each of them to discover which one has the error.

Is there a way to know consistently which slot has which ‘name’? Or to assign a name or number to each slot that will always be the same? Or… Any ideas?
