Is this anything related to that error with the file named "h
" that you recently posted about?
If so, then show us the contents of that file (which I'm assuming you renamed), and when you paste the contents of the file in here, select the entirety of the file's contents and click the </>
icon right above the post editor box. That last step will sure make reading your file a lot easier (for us).
This error is not related to last error that i had mentioned.
Thanks

Well then, run the command:
grep -r 'apt.postgresql.org' /etc/apt
This command should tell you which file contains the faulty line. Upload that file here, and please use the </>
button like I described above. (You have not made such a mistake yet, but many users do make the mistake of pasting code as plain text, time and time again.)
Until then, I can only guess about the rough nature of the error. Without seeing the faulty line, I notice that there is a mention of "precise", which refers to Ubuntu 12.04 LTS "Precise Pangolin"... to be precise. That release is long, long out of date (or simply "EOL", for End Of Life). You should probably change the reference to "precise" to focal
instead, since you indicate that you're doing this on Ubuntu (MATE?) 20.04 LTS "Focal Fossa".
According to https://wiki.postgresql.org/wiki/Apt:
So this would indicate that the line should not be deb http://apt.postgresql.org/pub/repos/apt precise-pgdg Release
like it seems to be right now, but rather should be exactly:
deb http://apt.postgresql.org/pub/repos/apt focal-pgdg main
I hope that works, and if not, post the file in question here like I already said, and hopefully we can work it out quickly enough.
