Easy tether network issues on 16.04 64 bit

I recently installed easytether because I won’t have wifi once I finish moving and I’m currently unable to connect to the internet using easytether. I’m a novice at dealing with technical issues like this the only thing I found online has to do with 15.04 Ubuntu having a similar issue. The fix for it was this I’m certain that I might need to tweak this fix, but I’m not sure how any help you can give me would be appreciated.

  1. Open the dhclient configuration file for editing

sudo gedit /etc/dhcp/dhclient.conf

2)Add the easytether-tap hard coded DNS

prepend domain-name-servers 192.168.117.1/24

save and close file, restart machine

Nothing happened, still not working but the process is running.

Android smartphones nowadays, but i believe Windows and Apple also, does have a built-in feature for the tethering, if you dont’have internet and you need to use it from USIM card provider.
If you have a Wi-Fi routeryou can directly drag the signal by microusb cable,. The OS gets it as an ethernet connection.
The second matter works as a range extender and it is better than internal or external devices.
