What are the arrow the “9” and “A” on the top panel ?

I can’t explain why because it appeared when I changed my panel look to Mutiny and for EVERY SINGLE PANEL it is like this. 
It’s a setting in MATE Tweak -> Interface : “Enable Keyboard LED”
