Error message after Simple Scan

After scanning a document when I go to download and save said document I'm getting this message in a window:

Failed to save file
Failed to execute child process "" (No such
file or directory)

The files are saved regardless of the message but when closing out the error message I'm presented with only the option to cancel the save or if I close out Simple Scan I'm presented this:

Save document before quitting? If you don't save, changes will be permanently lost.

And I'm of course then presented with the standard Save,Cancel or Quit without Saving options so I simply choose Quit without saving because the file IS saved.

I cannot find anything in the log files or crash reports that would indicate anything went wrong. The only change I've made to the system before seeing this was removing Xsane as I never really used it,figuring their might be a shared file I re-installed Xsane but the error message from Simple Scan persists. It really isn't a big deal but it bothers me that closing out Simple Scan is now become two step process.

Anybody ever encountered this?Any idea?

Check the settings in your Simple Scan preferences dialog. If you have enabled the Post-processing switch, but have not specified the name of a script to run, that is exactly the error you will receive (hence the empty string in the error message). If you don't want to post-process the saved PDF file, just turn off that switch in the settings and the error message should no longer be displayed.
