Hi. Just wondering if it is possible to add ethernet status sign (connected/disconnected) to the top panel of ubuntu-mate 20.04, as it used to be in earlier versions. Thanks!

Yes, there are quite a few indicators you can add to the Ubuntu MATE panel, including ethernet status. Here are the step-by-steps:
- Right-click on the panel where you want to add the indicator and select Add to Panel....
- Scroll down the list, select Network Monitor and click the Add button.
- You can close the Add to Panel dialog box.
- Right-click on the new indicator to see the options that are open to you. You can change what information is displayed, move the indicator, and even lock it in place.

Thanks. It would be nice if i could hide those speed digits and only show arrows. It used to look so in previous releases...
