Granted, this is more a general Ubuntu suggestion than Ubuntu-MATE specific, but I was wondering if the hardware enablement stacks for LTS releases could be extended to also include updated scanner- and printer-drivers (i.e. SANE, CUPS, HPLIP, etc.) in addition to updates for the kernel and displayserver.
