Eye of Mate auto opens when an image is downloaded in Chrome

Not sure what’s causing it, but it’s highly annoying as I download images rather often.

As soon as I hit save in my downloads folder, Eye of Mate will open with the image.

Is there a way to stop it?

If its in your download folder then it is already saved. Please clarify and I will try to duplicate this behavior.

Check your mouse sensitivity as I also have a problem with things taking on a life of their own in Ubuntu Mate 16.04!. :smiley:

I thought what I said was clear, but I guess not.

When you go to download an image, you right click -> save image as -> click save button.

My Ubuntu Mate install not only saves it, but automatically opens it. It’s annoying as frick.

Ok found it.

At some point you clicked on this

You now need to reset that
