Not sure what’s causing it, but it’s highly annoying as I download images rather often.
As soon as I hit save in my downloads folder, Eye of Mate will open with the image.
Is there a way to stop it?
If its in your download folder then it is already saved. Please clarify and I will try to duplicate this behavior.
Check your mouse sensitivity as I also have a problem with things taking on a life of their own in Ubuntu Mate 16.04!.

I thought what I said was clear, but I guess not.
When you go to download an image, you right click -> save image as -> click save button.
My Ubuntu Mate install not only saves it, but automatically opens it. It’s annoying as frick.
