Eye of Mate - Move file to trash without dialog?

I am using eom (Eye of Mate) in the Mate desktop environment on CentOS 7.4 as my default image viewer. I also run it on Ubuntu Mate 16.04 so I think this is more of a generic Mate question. But here goes…

If I press Del to delete an unwanted image file I receive a dialog ‘Are you sure you want to move “file name” to the trash?’ The dialog has a check box ‘[ ] do not ask again during this session’ This works until I close and restart eom.

I would sure like this to apply ALWAYS. I have looked at the man page for a hint and looked for an eom config file (none that I can find). Does anyone know a trick to make this option permanent?

TIA,

Ken

p.s. Does anyone know the status of the Mate forum? or the Mate mailing list? I cannot access either.

Dconf editor, org, mate, eom, check disable-trash-confirmation.

Thanks mdooley,

I should have thought to check there. I use dconf editor when I first setup a new machine. Then I tend to forget about it.

Have a great day!
