Hi,
I’ve recently installed Ubuntu MATE 15.10. As soon as I logged in for the first time, I installed Steam from the Welcome program. (Amazing work, by the way!) Unfortunately, after updating my system, I opened Steam and received this error:
“Fatal Error: Steam needs to be online to update. Please confirm your network connection and try again.”
Has anyone else had this problem straight after installation? Does anyone have an idea about how to fix it?
