For some reason the feh display manager does not work in ubunt mate 18.04. Not sure why. I have set my background to no display or no image and yet I can’t get feh to work. It works in regular Openbox fine.
I have checked my graphics card (Nvidia)
I have checked the Xsettings .
Openbox and Mate used lightdm as well.
Can some tell me why ths simple application does not work?
