Hi, I have an Asus K55n laptop running Ubuntu mate 16.04 and I’ve been chasing a very weird problem. Whenever I adjust my volume by using the function key plus f10 or f11 it will sometimes do a weird thing where my keyboard almost entirely stops working and even the toolbar can’t be left or right clicked. I can still click within firefox when this happens but can’t type anything. I’ve tried every key combination I can think of when this happens and nothing seems to fix it. Suspending my profile and signing back in does fix it though. Weirdly enough, every time I do this the galculator pops up after logging back on.
EDIT: it does it with every fn+f key combination, even the ones that don’t have an assigned command on the keyboard
