Getting an odd message: "Pending update of ubuntu-mate-welcome-snap"

For the last 10 days I have been getting a message upon start-up:
"Pending update of ubuntu-mate-welcome-snap
Close the app to avoid disruptions (3 days left)"
(each day the count goes down)

I do not have the welcome screen open as a default, and haven't opened it manually for a few weeks.
What action should I take?

[I tried to post earlier, but had problems with that. I also mistakenly clicked on 20-04 focal.]

What action should I take?

Open a terminal and type:

snap refresh

It will do an upgrade of all the snaps and will (hopefully) stop the continuous nagging.

Usually snaps are updated together with the regular ubuntu updates.
So it is a bit of a mystery to me why this happens, I can not replicate this behaviour.
Also, very few people seem to be affected by this.
