Gigabyte Aorus Master x570 mobo 'no audio' bug

I wasn't sure where to put this, so I'll just put it here.

I just built a Ryzen 3700x with RX 5700 xt. Got the Aorus Master x570. I know Ubuntu is nowhere near ready for Ryzen 3000 and Navi but FOMO and YOLO.

The most pronounced bug so far is that the mobo has an audio bug relating to it's ESS Sabre DAC which will not produce audio from the line-out port. It will have sound on mic, headphones, bluetooth but no analog sound from output.

They've already discussed this at the level1tech forum here and here.

A bug report has been submitted here (not by me, I don't know how to make bug reports).

And I haven't heard of any other motherboards giving the same problem. It's a shame really because this particular motherboard by Gigabyte is the best mobo for the x570 and it has a critical flaw on Linux. Hopefully this gets fixed.

By the way, if anyone is interested in a workaround that works,

Hi until that new Kernel lands on UM...
You have not mentioned that the hdajackretask exe comes from a certain package so

sudo apt install alsa-tools-gui

then from menu run hdajackretask or run it as a command from the terminal
