Rhythmbox and Shortwave do the job well, also.

Shortwave doesn´t seem to work on Linux Mint Mate, at least i get a “E: Package shortwave could not be found.” Error if i try to install it.

Shortwave is available as a flatpak on flathub.org. If you ever install more than one flatpak app, I highly recommend installing Bazaar (a flatpak) that provides a slick GUI software store for installing, removing, and managing flatpaks.

I use Rythmbox to listen to my favorite jazz station: KJZZ HD2, an FM station at ASU in Tempe, AZ. (Put "https://kjzz.streamguys1.com/kjzzhd2_mp3_128", without the quotes, in the Location box in the Properties dialog when you create a new radio station in Rythmbox).
