Help me please i erased main panel of Mate

I have erased top panel and i do not know how to get it back. I have Ubuntu 18,04,

Right click on the bottom panel and select “New Panel”.

Welcome to the forum @Pavel. You can also open Mate Tweak, go to Panel , and change the panel layout to something different, then change it back to what you had before. If you customize your panels after this, you can go back to this same part of Mate Tweak and save your custom panel. Then if you change panel layouts later, you can always get back to your custom layout from the drop down list.

If you’re unable to get to MATE-Tweak without that panel, here’s another way.

Open a terminal with Ctrl+Alt+T and enter this command:

mate-tweak

Now, you should have control of the Panel layout in MATE-Tweak. The default layout is called “Familiar”.

:slight_smile: Could also use Alt+F2 but I find MATE-Tweak is not in that app list!
