Help required, in South Africa, Durban area

I have a Dell Vostro 5510 i5 laptop onto which I have successfully now loaded Ubuntu Mate 22.04 LTS. The 2tb disk I've had added for data [NVMe] - [O/S disk is also NVMe but 512gb] won't run the working data transferred from my desktop PC. [SATA also running Ubuntu Mate 22.04 LTS]
I've tried but something beyond my current expertise is blocking me.
I've need of experienced **Ubuntu ** [ Linux/Ubuntu hardware and software experience] help in the Durban [SA] area.
Can anyone point me to someone appropriate please?

Hello xaire

This may be the explanation of your problem. If so, it will also show you what you have to do (your UID on the first computer must match your UID on the second computer).

I hope that helps. Let us know how you get on. :slightly_smiling_face:
