Help with par2 type files - totally lost

I need to run a utility from Micron for my SSD.
It came as a zip, I unzipped it and it gave me the setup.run file.
Tried to run it and it claimed to need PyPar2, so I installed it.
Running that created a bunch of files that get me nowhere.
Below is my directory listing:

Opening .run.par2 runs me around in circles.
This is the first time dealing with this situation, please be gentle, I need lots of help.
I know I missed something, but can't figure out what.

Unless your SSD is currently unable to store files, I’m pretty sure any vendor-provided “utility” is crapware.

If I can get it to boot, the drive works fine.
It just hangs at boot and takes a few tries.
