Hi, that’s my first post in this forum so if I do something wrong please forgive me!
I’m using an icon pack that does not have the icons that appear in the top panel (volume, battery, wifi). Is there anyway to set a “secondary icon pack” for those icons that aren’t included in the “primary” icon pack?

There a ways of changing icons and ways to use a different icon package. What icon package do you want to use? You can set just one icon pack to be used.
The icon theme folder should have a file called “index.theme”. One line in this file starts with Inherits=, with the fallback icons themes listed separated by commas. For example, to fall back to the default Ubuntu MATE icon theme, this line could be
Inherits=Ambiant-MATE,gnome,hicolor
(The final two theme names are there just in case.)
