How can I get panel icon to change language

I can change language Hebrew or English by using alt + space
but I want instead an icon on panel which I had in previous distributions of UM. What can I do to get this feature

install dconf-editor (if not installed)

Open dconf-editor, go to org/mate/desktop/peripherals/keyboard/indicator

check the “show-flags” option

I did as suggested above checked show-flags opt buy still am not able to set up icon on panel or desk top.

I enabled show-flag, then went into Control Center > keyboard > Layouts, added Hebrew. In options I chose to use left Alt+Left Shift to switch layouts. My panel is on top and it shows the two flags, US and Israel when I switch layouts.

Change your theme. Yaru do not display flags.
