How can I make Firefox not use font 234?

This is what I get when I open Firefox.

It looks like about a number 96 font.

How can I fix this mess?

Hi, @fixit7

I hope you're feeling better from your pain. I believe @jymm has answered a very similar question (about changing the Font and text size in Mozilla Firefox) in a similar topic that you've opened about 5 hours ago. Please check the following link to his answer to you and see if it solves your question:

The problem is with the snap versions of programs.

After installing the .deb version, there was no problem.

I feel that the U.M. developers should treat snaps as beta.

Adios amigos.

I can't remember what Ubuntu MATE version it was when Firefox and Thunderbird were switched to "snaps".

I never had an issue with using these apps as "snaps". All the settings were "ported" from ".deb" to "snap".

Not to mention, Firefox is my daily driver AND I use it as a Frontend developer. No problem at all!

Since Jammy, Firefox and Thunderbird were distributed as Snaps. However, similar to your experience, I haven't encountered whatever problem it is that's being the topic of this discussion (which is already answered elsewhere).

To @fixit7, I don't think Snaps should be treated as beta, nor do I comprehend how should that go, or how that is relevant to this discussion at hand. That's just a non-constructive, provocative feedback that fails to do whatever it is that you want it to.

I posted that as feedback. When I posted it, I was experiencing a lot of anquish and pain.

I do apologize sincerely.

(A short time ago I went to 2 E.R.s for treatment of my pain. A nice man gave me a ride there from a broken down car. My level 10 pain was not treated at either E.R. )

The very large font size issue with the snap Firefox made it necessary to use Chromium (a very good browser) with all the attendant extra steps like importing bookmarks etc.

I am currently doing fine. I am a very happy person who loves volunteering.

I do apologize as well if my remarks come off as abrasive or inflammatory. I do understand that perspective as well. I hope you'd get well soon...
