How to do change the default settings for the appearance ? I need to somehow change the default config so that when i add a new user it all gets transferred over and it all works the same. I want to take the current setup i use and make it into like a template for the future users so they don’t have to mess with it. can anybody help me please ? i need to change the panel at the top, i need to have a dock at the bottom with specific apps and an icon theme. i can do it all and setup i just need to know where the config files are.

You’ll need to create a gschema override file with your system wide preferences. Look in /usr/share/glib2/schema (or something like that, I forget the correct path off the top of my head) and you’ll find some override files. Make sure yours is named such that it is alphanumerically the last one.
