I was previously using LXLE and one thing I liked was an icon in the panel that allowed me to quickly search any installed application. Is there something I can do to get a similar feature?
Synapse (under Accessories) should be the one - it’s also preinstalled.
This too allows you to launch it with one click (or keyboard shortcut) and can search many other things too (through the use of plugins)
