How to initiate a iso file of Ubuntu-MATE?

I downloaded a iso file from the Ubuntu-MATE official web site. Then I used K3b app, burned it to a DVD.
Next, I rebooted my computer with the DVD in the CDROM drive and the iso file does not begin the install process. What should I do differently to activate the install process?

Did you select the DVD drive to boot first? Usually done by pressing the F12 key the select the DVD drive or from the bios

How did you burn the ISO to the DVD?
If you created a new data disc compilation and simply added it as a file it won’t work.
You have to explicitly burn it as complete disc image.
