How to install 16.04 Menu buttons, Apps - Places - System 1n 18.04?

Hello, Ever since I fresh installed UM18.04 from UM 16.04 I dislike the “Menu” button in the top left corner. x-screensaver

I and think others (I’m sure) would like to know how to install the Menu buttons from UM 16.04.
The ones that display: “Applications Places System”, without destroying the rest of the window.

I had to go to the app “Back in Time” to restore the default look.

Otherwise UM 18.04 is well received.

Hi @matetwo, That panel layout you're looking for is called "Traditional" in 18.04. Find it in Mate-Tweak:
