Hello, I have ubuntu mate installed on my PC with an Nvidia Geforce2 MX / MX 400 graphics and I have noticed that when moving the windows it looks like with lag, as if there was an effect that was not loaded by the graphics. How can I leave without effects? or how can I make the effects look?
Perhaps if you check out the MATE Tweak tool you might find some settings that might help.
Try unchecking Enable animations and checking Do not show content when moving windows
There are other setting in there to play around with.
Hopefully that will help.
