Hello,
I recenty installed Ubuntu Mate 16.04 LTS. I have an Intel integrated graphics and dedicated nvidia GT740M graphics that I would like to use for gaming. Now the problem I have:
1)can’t switch to the nvidia card when I want to play a game
2) the fan on that card is running non-stop, and it gets really annoying. Not at full speed but still…(maybe both the integrated card and nvidia cards are runnigh??)
3)tried to install bumblebee - didn’t work
Any help would be appreciated. I’m new to this and gettign desperate. If I should provide something, just ask. Thanks

Now I can switch through PRIME profiles between them but can start steam - OpenGL GLX extension not supported by display
