I need help in quickly opening guvcview.
It is so I can see who is coming down my driveway.
I would like to put it in my panel so I can just click it to open guvcview.
Thanks,

Obviously too late to help you.
Also, I don't know how to use that tool.
However, we've seen you post a number of items that had a "need it right now" level of urgency, which is truly an unrealistic expectation from a Community that people only visit "haphazardly".
I would like to recommend that you take the time, sometime, to sit down and create a list of all the scenarios that you might consider a "dire need" or "threat" and start thinking about what you need to deal with each one of those, and if technology (and yes Linux capabilities) can offer tools/services that would address those, doing the breakdown on a case-by-case basis.
That might help keep a clamp on the stress, which could be a trigger for some of the pain you keep experiencing.
Just a thought!
Sorry, pain was at work when I posted it.
Pain is from being rear-ended 4 times and being hit by a car while riding my bicycle.
Doing this provided about 30 minutes of pain relief. (endorphins)
Nice variety of tools for stress relief!
Being rear-ended once in a lifetime is such a low probability to begin with! But to have it happen to you 4 times is truly, truly a terrible experience and hard to fathom, both the cumulative repercussions and the astronomically low probabilities !
I wonder if there are add-on proximity sensors for cars that could trigger the actuation of "something" when the calibrated proximity has been detected ?
Being rear ended 4 times. Does that indicate a low probability?

Did you give some thought to what you posted?
It is said that we have 2 ears and one mouth. Something that might be worth pondering.
YES !!!
Trying to turn your very bad experience into an effort for positive development.
What if the sensor triggered at 20 feet to raise a pop-up banner to say "SLOW-DOWN JACKASS!" ... or something more politically correct!
I think not my friend.
... and yet ...
Subaru has those proximity sensors to slam on your brakes if the person ahead of you stops suddenly on you!
