There are couple icons that wont fit well on Ubuntu MATE, and i can make better ones!

All of the icons, including the vector (SVG) files are in /usr/share/icons/Ambiant-MATE with the remaining inherited from /usr/share/icons/Humanity (more on its design here) and a few others.
You’re free to modify these yourself, or create your versions and share them here.
If you would like them to appear in future Ubuntu MATE releases, you’ll need to file a report (“bug”) for the maintainers on Launchpad.

The Ambiant-MATE and Radiant-MATE themes are in the ubuntu-mate-themes package, part of the ubuntu-mate-artwork metapackage.
